Character Education
Character building is essential to the development of each student. Integrated into the fabric of our culture is the 8 pillars of character adopted through input from parents, faculty/staff, and students. Students live by an honor code and conduct themselves through Respect, Responsibility, Caring, Citizenship, Trust, Fairness, Faith and Work Ethic.
Students who demonstrate exemplary character may be inducted into the Society of Honor. This exclusive organization is to honor and celebrate those who have been a positive force and shown altruism both on and off campus.
Community Service
Giving back builds character and gives one an irreplaceable good feeling to help others. Students engage in a wide variety of community service projects. Each Saturday is devoted to helping Habitat for Humanity of Dutchess County, whereby students are valued for their work ethic and willingness to complete any task.
Students have been lauded for contributions to the Sunday in the Country Food Drive, Adopt-a-Family, community plantings and serving in soup kitchens to name a few.
